XL Scottie Dog Pillow

This evening, I finished testing an XL scottie dog pillow. It was fun to make and even more fun watching Emily and Annalynn love up on it. =) This pillow measures 28" long from tip of tail to snout. The pattern is free and includes 4 different sizes range from small to x-large.

Hubert the Frog

This week I got to test a crochet amigurumi, in other words, a crocheted stuff toy. =) I had a fun time of testing Hubert the Frog designed by Ida Herter. This is my very first amigurumi. When Emily first saw it she said it looked like an egg with eyes, arms & legs. I thought he was cute and decided to crochet him up.

I have more test patterns in the works, including: a scottie dog pillow, a sweater for Jack (our dog), an American Girl doll outfit, a Shaun the Sheep toy and a unicorn toy.

Bowtie Booties & Puppy Dog Booties

I love pattern testing for my fellow crocheters. It gives me something to do and I get to make some great gifts! Best of all, the women are wonderful to work with! This past week, I did a test for the Bowtie Booties and Puppy Dog Booties by Paula. Both patterns are available in sizes 0-12 months. They are so adorable! Here are my versions:

Jacob's Ladder Shawl

Last week I completed a test for a beautiful shawl called Jacob's Ladder Shawl. Katherine did a great job writing the pattern! The biggest thing I loved about this pattern is that you work from the top down, so the rows get shorter as you go. The pattern is written in 2 sizes, the smaller shawlette measures approximately 46x13”, and the larger shawl 67x20” approximately. My shawl measured 76” x 21.5” but I had to make it big for me since I am keeping it for myself. I would highly recommend buying this pattern. She has it priced at $3.88 which is a steal!
